The base cost of the trip is £599 (£609 if paid by credit card) which for the avoidance of doubt excludes insurance this year. You need to pay a deposit of £150 (due now) leaving a balance of £449 to pay in January and don't forget to add the ski carriage (£15) if you have your own skis or snowboard.

If you wish to travel with your own equipment on a charter flight there is a charge of £15 made for each pair of skis or snowboard. This carriage can be pre-booked up to 14 days before departure, after this you will have to book ski carriage at the appropriate airline desk at your departure airport on your day of day of departure at a cost of £25 per item. Space on a flight for carriage of equipment is limited. This fee guarantees that in the event that they are off loaded from the aircraft they will get your equipment to resort as soon as possible. They will also provide superior equipment free of charge should a delay in getting your own equipment to resort restrict your skiing or boarding at all, and in that case they will refund the ski carriage charge.

In my view this is a well researched independant guide to a confusing marketplace and I would encourage you to take a look at it before buying your travel insurance.

We are no longer taking pre-bookings for equipment hire or lift passes. These should be ordered on the coach, from the travel rep, during the transfer from the airport to the hotel. Payment should be made by way of a credit or debit card but you must make sure that your card is not blocked to overseas use prior to departure. Don't forget your passport photo just in case!!!

If you haven't paid by credit/debit card then total it all up and then get the money to me as soon as possible and certainly before January 15th.  I have to pay the balance to our tour operator the following week or your holiday will cease to exist.
